Bob, the son of missionaries, grew up in Guatemala. He graduated from Houghton College in 1972 with a BS in Biology, and then graduated from Physician Assistant training at Albany Medical College in 1977. After serving for over thirty years as a Pediatric PA, he returned to school and graduated from Northeastern Seminary with a MA in Theology. He served as the pastor of a small non-denominational church for six years before retiring in November 2015. He and his wife, Cheryl recently moved to Orchard Park, NY to be closer to their two grandchildren. In addition to spending time with his two grandchildren, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, reading, and writing.
